About Us

BRinK stands for Biological Research in Kuzikus. We are a newly establishing, small conservation initiative  that provides research opportunities to scientists and volunteers to explore and document the wildlife in Kuzikus, an area of the Kalahari Desert, a wilderness region in the world.  As biologistst ("think global, act local"), our aim is to locally guarantee the protection of the area and globally encourage the protection of biodiversity. In order to promote  nature conservation and research, we combine science with education through our research and public awareness programme reaching from the local to the regional and global level.
