Your personal spending money will not be much, as all provisions are provided during your four-week project. Volunteers should bring sufficient cash to site for their transport from and to Windhoek (see "Transport to site" below) and might want bring some for extra snacks, sweets and souvenirs that can be purchased at the lodge.
Return flights from Europe: from EUR 800.-
Flights need to organised by you, however, we advise on this in the BRinK predeparture handbook. Flights go to Windhoek (WHK) Hosea Kutako International Airport. Flights should only be booked, if ensured the project in Namibia is running.
Transport to site: around EUR 80.- depending on combined travel with other volunteers
Since Kuzikus is a secluded place within the Kalahari, the transport (4x4) from the airport or Windhoek to Kuzikusis organised by BRinK. BRinK will invoice volunteers on site, according to how many people joined the same trip in order to share the costs. We strongly recommend all volunteers to be available on the day of project start to share transport costs and to arrive together. Volunteers must have sufficient cash on site.

BRinK volunteers often enjoy to see more of the country before or after their research project. These need to be booked independently.
